Xsi Rebel â € "Outstanding Camera

Only had a chance to use the camera in various conditions in the U.S. and Canada. I am a long time amateur trying to become a professional. From the Pacific coast of California to Mobile, AL., Where I live, my daughter's big new face in Brampton, Ontario, CDA., To Niagara Falls, CDA., And back home, this camera performed extremely well. I have taken well over 600 pictures and battery are still responsible for perhaps another 600 images. I used the auto settings and dedicated, and in all cases the results were outstanding. My family and friends were amazed at the sharpness of the prints, but for me it was easy to use and ready adaptability that got my attention. This will be my primary camera for some time to come. A rebel in his class, but puts a new meaning to the word. Likely to stay at the forefront of this class.

Rebel XSi - Very Nice Camera

I have owned a Rebel XT a couple years, then bought this camera to upgrade. It is easy to use and if it is something that the Rebel XT, it will be very reliable. Shutter button is responsive. I get Live View mode as well as seeking admission. The large LCD screen is very nice. I did not go through all functions as most of them I will never use. In addition, the menu is easy to navigate, and you do not get overwhelmed by the buttons on the camera. (I also have Nikon equipment.) I give it 5 stars.

Rebel XSi â € "I love my new camera!

For quite a long time, I want to get a digital SLR camera because I was sick and tired of the shutter speed to regular digital cameras. Although I was satisfied with the images my Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10 done - especially outdoors, I feared taking pictures indoors or try to capture moving objects in the picture (now you see me now you do not).

So I wondered whether months on a digital SLR I wanted and needed. Since this is my first camera of this type and I am just a hobby fotographer, I had no desire to be out several grand. But I wanted something to had enough "oomph" to justify the price tag. So I looked into the Canon Rebel XTi, Nikon D40, Olympus Olympus E30 and E50. The things I do not like about Olympus was the fact that it seems that I had to buy Olympus Picture Card, and they are kinda pricy.

So I went back and forth between the Canon Rebel XTi and Nikon D40. Then I looked into the Rebel XSi and read the repords at amazon.com and elsewhere, both in relation Canon cameras side by side. After a week or two I finally decided to spend a bit more, but have a few more extras with my camera.

And I had a lot of fun in the last few days with this camera. I can take pictures with what comes clear and vivid, even in low light indoors. I would have had a smudgy blur with my camera under the same conditions. Right now I only use Canon Lens EF 50 f/1.8 II to the higher sensitivity to light, but wait till I go on vacation to northern Germany in 2 weeks and I will try out the lens that came with the camera. Can not almost do not wait!
In a nutshell: So far I have not regreded my desicion to buy this camera!

Rebel XSi â € " I will use it, Too

A Pro I have a Canon Ds and a Canon D Mark II N, for the job. And an XT and Rebel XTi as backup cameras and assistants to use and I got a Rebel XSi for the same reason as the other Rebel's! But I got to tell you, I really like this cute little light 12MP camera. Add the battery grip ... and I want'a use it, and I will, especially when I want to facilitate my camera bag for a long trek on foot to a location to shoot and times when I will be loaded with a camera in your hand all day ... It has all the basic manual and automatic features that I may need and then some, and other pluses ...
